Glutathione may not be appropriate for individuals with a known allergy to the medication or its components. It is generally not recommended for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or undergoing certain cancer treatments unless directed by a healthcare provider.

Individuals with asthma or certain respiratory conditions should use caution, as glutathione may exacerbate symptoms in rare cases. A licensed provider will determine eligibility during evaluation.
