How do I message my provider?

All follow-up questions must be sent through the secure patient dashboard. Using our private messaging system ensures your Protected Health Information (PHI) remains protected and allows your provider to review your full medical history when responding. You can access this feature once your initial consultation is complete.

๐Ÿ“Œ Important: The messaging portal is not a live chat. Providers typically respond within 24โ€“48 business hours. For medical emergencies, call 911 immediately.

To message your provider:

  1. Log into your account at yupmd.com/dashboard/home.

  2. Send a message through the secure patient dashboard.

  3. Select your active treatment thread or start a new message.

  4. Type your question or update and send.

  5. You'll receive an email notification when your provider replies.

What to send to your provider:

  • Questions about your current medication or dosage

  • Side effects you're experiencing

  • Requesting a dosage adjustment

  • New medications you've started that might interact with your treatment

  • Lab results or records you'd like to share

  • Questions about your treatment plan or progress

What to use the support chat for instead:

For billing, shipping, account, and technical questions, use the chat bubble at the bottom right of yupmd.com rather than the provider portal โ€” you'll get a faster resolution.

If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to let us know! Our care team is here for you.

Current and former patients: Log into your account and send us a message through the secure patient dashboard.

Not subscribed to a YupMD plan but have a question: Click the chat bubble on the bottom right of our page, and submit a question.
